for old harriette:

this past week has averaged over 60 degrees almost everyday. the lake has finally thawed, and with my final college semester well over halfway over, it's safe to say i've long since moved on to new activities - time for a project.

ive already decided to tackle painting my boat early on - a clean fire red from interlux brightside seemed perfect, until i saw the movie below. just keep watching until about a minute and 20 seconds

the color is called flag blue and now im reasonably torn. the color is a deep perfect navy, and i've always dreamed of having a navy blue and white sailboat. then again, the boat was named harriette because when nate and i saw the big faded red hull, we both thought of a woman named harriette. painting her flag blue almost seems like.... betrayal?
